Reports to: Director, Application Development
Job Summary: We are seeking a Salesforce Developer to support and enhance our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow automation. This role will focus on maintaining and expanding existing Salesforce capabilities, supporting integrations with third-party platforms, and partnering with business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions. The successful candidate may also participate in other application development initiatives as business needs evolve.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce declarative tools.
- Support and enhance Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) implementations, including customizations and integrations.
- Develop and maintain complex automations utilizing Salesforce Flow and Apex.
- Build and support Salesforce Experience Cloud (Community Portal) solutions.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Administrator, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Review existing code and Flows to ensure development best practices.
- Utilize Flosum DevOps tool for application deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
- Develop technical documentation and solution designs.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform enhancements and emerging technologies.
Requirements:- 3-5 years of Salesforce development experience.
- Experience with:
- Apex
- Salesforce Flow
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Salesforce Experience Cloud (Community Portal)
- REST/SOAP integrations
- Understanding of Salesforce security and sharing models.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
- Experience working with custom objects, validation rules, and automation.
- Ability to work closely with Administrator to determine acceptable solutions.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively without regular direction; self-motivated.
- To succeed in this role, you should have a natural way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.
Preferred- Experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
- Experience integrating Salesforce with Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Brevo Marketing Platform.
- Experience with CloudFiles.
- Experience using Flosum or other Salesforce DevOps tools.
- Experience within the Retirement Services or Financial Services sector.
