Full Job Description
This is a challenging strategic sales management position leading a regional sales team and reporting directly to the EVP of Sales, Service, Support for Americas. In this role you will be responsible for managing the sales relationship for your team's accounts including Key Global Accounts. This includes developing executive relationships, ensuring your team's execution from Q2C, achieving synergy with global business partners including Business Units, Applications support, sales, marketing and numerous functional partners both regionally and globally. Candidate must be able to provide guidance and leadership to their team enabling them to continuously achieve forecast targets, maximize growth, revenue and profit. Key Responsibilities include: - Develop and manage relationships with customers, executives, functional partners both internal and external with ability to influence decisions - Influence cross-functional relationship building and project management skills - Develop sales plans, including account strategies, local/downstream resource allocation, define product deficiencies/issues, manage benchmarks, and make appropriate product and engagement decisions as it affects the account globally - Drive sales using a consultative approach through understanding the customer's business, goals and organizational dynamics, then defining the most compelling solution based on Advantest's offerings - Creating value propositions with technical and marketing teams - Driving accuracy of forecasting and revenue targets - Manage and prioritize resource allocations and escalations - Drive executive alignment, engagement and governance including accountability for deliverables and sales metrics Minimum Required Skills: - 5+ years of experience in managing sales team, - 15+ years of experience in customer support role - 15+ years of experience in technology - Strong business acumen and negotiation abilities - Strong proven leadership and communication skills - Proven track record driving global customer teams by achieving sales targets, market share goals and high customer satisfaction - Ability to lead and influence remote teams - Ability to present, influence and drive change at an executive level - Combined experience in business, field sales, applications, engineering, marketing, business development or global strategic account management in the semiconductor capital equipment industry - BS in Business or Engineering preferred
