High-Earning Sales Opportunity | Top Performers Earn $180,000-$250,000+

This Is a Sales Career for Proven Producers

Boater's World Marine Centers is looking for an experienced, high-performing Sales Consultant to join our Bradenton team.

We're not looking for someone who simply wants to "try sales."

We're looking for a proven salesperson who knows how to build relationships, manage a pipeline, follow up relentlessly, overcome objections, ask for the sale, and close high-value transactions.

For the right salesperson, this is a serious earning opportunity.

Our strongest sales professionals are realistically earning $180,000-$250,000+ annually based on individual performance. This is a performance-driven sales environment with significant income potential for people who know how to sell.

Marine industry experience is valuable, but proven sales ability matters most. Successful candidates may come from marine, automotive, RV, powersports, luxury retail, real estate, home improvement, or another high-ticket sales environment.

If you already know how to sell, we'll help you learn the boats.

What Success Looks Like

Our successful Sales Consultants don't wait around for someone to walk through the door.

They build their own business.

You'll be expected to develop relationships, respond quickly to leads, maintain consistent follow-up, prospect for new opportunities, understand your inventory, use social media and digital tools, and create reasons for customers to buy from you.

The people who succeed here are competitive, motivated, organized, coachable, and driven by results.

You'll have the opportunity to sell new and pre-owned boats while representing a growing marine dealership organization with significant inventory and resources behind you.

What You'll Do
  • Sell new and pre-owned boats to retail customers
  • Build and maintain your own book of business
  • Respond quickly and professionally to internet, phone, and showroom leads
  • Prospect consistently for new customers and sales opportunities
  • Develop long-term relationships with boat owners and prospective buyers
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with active prospects and previous customers
  • Conduct professional product presentations and walkarounds
  • Learn the features, advantages, and differences across our boat and engine brands
  • Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate boats and products
  • Demonstrate boats and participate in sea trials when appropriate
  • Negotiate professionally and confidently ask for the sale
  • Work closely with Sales Management and the Business Office to move deals efficiently from initial contact through delivery
  • Maintain accurate customer activity, notes, follow-up, and pipeline information within the CRM
  • Utilize phone, email, text, video, social media, and other communication channels to generate and maintain customer engagement
  • Develop referral and repeat business
  • Follow up after delivery to maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Stay knowledgeable about available inventory, incoming units, promotions, and market conditions
  • Consistently work toward individual and dealership sales goals

This Role Is Built for Someone Who
  • Has a documented history of strong sales performance
  • Is comfortable selling high-value products
  • Knows how to build rapport quickly and earn customer trust
  • Can manage a sales process from initial lead through closing
  • Understands that consistent follow-up drives sales
  • Is comfortable prospecting instead of relying exclusively on incoming leads
  • Is competitive and motivated by performance and income
  • Can confidently handle objections and negotiate
  • Understands how to ask for the business and close
  • Is organized enough to manage multiple customers and opportunities simultaneously
  • Is comfortable using a CRM and being accountable for follow-up
  • Understands the value of social media, video, texting, and digital communication in modern sales
  • Wants an opportunity where individual performance can directly influence income

  • Strong prospecting and follow-up habits
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills
  • Professional verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven, commission-focused sales environment
  • Ability to learn detailed product information and confidently present it to customers
  • Comfortable using CRM systems and digital sales tools
  • Ability and willingness to use phone, text, email, video, and social media as part of the sales process
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
