Job Description
The Project Control Officer will support delivery of complex initiatives using both traditional waterfall and agile project methodologies. This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, maintaining governance artefacts, supporting multiple releases, and enabling delivery across technology, product, and business process workstreams.

The Project Control Officer will provide day-to-day project support for the Unified Provider Platform (UPP) and HALO projects, ensuring accurate tracking, documentation, and communication across stakeholders.

The role requires strong project management fundamentals, working knowledge of agile delivery, and hands-on experience with Confluence, Jira, and Microsoft Office tools.

Must haves:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting software application delivery teams (e.g., product, development teams)
  • Proven experience working in both waterfall and agile project environments
  • Hands-on experience with Confluence and Jira (documentation, tracking, reporting)
  • Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals, including governance, milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Background in healthcare, health IT, or enterprise IT environments

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support assigned projects through all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Track and report on project progress, milestones, risks, issues, actions, and dependencies
  • Prepare, coordinate, and maintain project schedules, release plans, and roadmaps
  • Support preparation of governance materials, approvals, briefing notes, and decision records
  • Coordinate project meetings, including scheduling, logistics, and stakeholder participation
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, materials, and pre-reads
  • Capture and distribute meeting minutes and notes, including decisions, risks, issues, and action items
  • Track and follow up on meeting action items and commitments to ensure timely closure
  • Assist project managers and product owners with release planning and delivery coordination
  • Act as a central point of coordination between delivery teams, product teams, and business stakeholders
  • Support change management and communication activities related to project delivery
  • Support coordination across related products and business process initiatives

Desired Skills:
