Candidates must be able to work for any U.S. employer and do not require visa sponsorship, now or in the future.As a member of Semiconductor Robot Engineering team, the Robotic Application Engineer leads the activity of developing, testing and maintaining robotic products for semiconductor industry.
Responsibilities Include:- Respond to customer's request on semiconductor robot application.
- Lead the activity of prototype design projects following project process. Provide guidance to mechanical design team, electrical team, software team and prototype team to complete robot application within committed timeline.
- Create CAD drawings, 3D models and engineering documents to meet customer's expectations.
- Provide technical guidance on robot system issues.
- Provide field support on customer's site, including domestic or oversea travels.
Basic Qualifications:- Minimum 4 year college degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of application experience in automation or semiconductor industry related to vacuum environment equipment.
- Experience with 3D and 2D CAD software.
- Knowledge of automation system, including the theory of operation, key components, major failure mode.
- Knowledge of basic programming logic.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills - ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts in form of presentation.
- Be able to understand and implement new engineering concept in short period of time.
- Be able to manage multiple task/projects during same period of time.
- Knowledge of MS office (word, excel, power point).
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience using AutoCAD software
- Experience using NX software
- Experience with vacuum environment robot
Physical Requirements:- Ability to carry, lift, push and pull objects weighing up to 25lbs and to bend, walk and stand with objects weighing up to 25Ibs
- Ability to use common mechanical tools such as screw drivers, hex keys, torque wrenches.
