Full Job Description
As a RN Supervisor House Admin, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn -whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Assists in the provision of supplemental nursing staff to in-patient and other areas. Works with departments within the hospital to ensure appropriate and timely patient placement. Assists staff in obtaining needed supplies and equipment. Utilizes chain of command to address departmental or facility issues. Responds to emergencies on the campus. Implements emergency plans for the facility. Interacts with patients, families, staff and physicians to ensure prompt resolution of concerns. Supports hospital mission, vision and goals. Places personal emphasis on customer service.

What qualifications you will need:

    • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

    • BSN required.

    • Two years general duty staff.

    • Two years management (Manager or Unit Supervisor).

    • Some specialty area experience (ICU,-3 years exp, etc.)
      • Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license

      • Current AHA or ARC BLS Provider

      • AHA or ARC ACLS required within 12 months of hire.

      • AHA or ARC PALS required within 90 days of hire or no later than January 1st, 2024 for current employees.

      • CPI required within 30 days of hire.
