RN Infection Prevention and Staff EducatorWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Educator and Infection Preventionist to join our team at Creekside Post Acute in Hopewell, VA. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a vital role in promoting quality care, patient education, and infection prevention.
Responsibilities:- Infection Prevention and Control: Educate staff and residents on infection control procedures, ensuring a culture of prevention and safety throughout the facility
- Staff Education and Development: Serve as a liaison between the facility and community education resources, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing
- Quality Assurance and Improvement: Work closely with the DON/ADON to develop and implement education programs related to quality assurance data conversion and evaluation, improving resident care and quality outcomes
- Nursing Care Analysis and Evaluation: Analyze and evaluate nursing care, ensuring compliance with State Nurse Practice Act and facility standards
- Staff Development and Growth: Develop and implement educational programs, materials, and resources to support staff development and professional growth
