Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator House Supervisor - Days

$20,000 Sign-on bonus eligible! 

Schedule: 3 12 hours shifts.

7A-7P

A RN Coordinator House Supervisors who excels in this role:

  • Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.
  • Identifies and resolves issues affecting delivery of clinical services and patient flow.
  • Performs quality assurance studies and assists with implementation of QA/QI initiatives.
  • Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts regarding clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Monitors departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission requirements.
  • Provides direct patient care as needed in accordance with scope and standards of practice.
  • Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.

What we’re looking for 

The right person will be responsible for providing leadership and direction in accordance with organizational and departmental philosophy and goals.  Acts as the supervisor on duty to make management decisions, provide direction and supervision with operational issues for all hospital departments.

Applicants should have a current VA or compact state license.  Associate’s degree in nursing required. 

Additional requirements include:

  • Basic Life Support certification is required.
  • ACLS American Heart Association required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) American Heart Association within 6 months
  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of RN experience in an acute care hospital setting required

  • Previous management experience preferred.

 

Hourly Range: $38.30 - $51.70
