We are expanding our Workers' Compensation Case Management team and seeking an experienced RN Case Manager to support injured workers throughout the Northern Virginia Metro area. This field-based position combines a home-office environment (approximately 40% of time) with local travel to case-related medical appointments (approximately 60% of time). We are committed to maintaining manageable caseloads and travel radii, allowing our case managers to deliver focused, high-quality care without being overextended.
$5,000 sign-on bonus upon successful completion of 90 days.Primary Responsibilities:- Utilize medical management guidelines to collaborate with Injured Workers, Treatment Providers, and the multidisciplinary Claim Management Team.
- Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, monitor, evaluate, and adjust care plans to achieve positive health outcomes and facilitate safe, timely return to work
- Use medical management guidelines to keep cases moving safely and efficiently
Required Qualifications:- Education: BSN degree preferred; will consider Associate degree in Nursing with related case management experience.
- Experience: Typically 3+ years of of nursing experience in one of the fields:
- Orthopedics
- Neurology
- Trauma
- Occupational Health
- License: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Strong organizational skills and clear written/verbal communication
- Comfortable with day-to-day computer use for documentation
Preferred Qualifications:- Workers' compensation or disability case management experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
