ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities- Responsible for providing calibration services for test equipment primarily in the field of RF and Electrical metrology.
- Work with other technicians within the lab to learn calibration fundamentals, which can include measurement, temperature, electronics, etc.
- Identify and utilize appropriate measurement techniques
- Maintain calibration standards
- Perform calibration work within a laboratory setting and/or while supervised at a customer on-site
- Fulfill duties safely under working conditions, in keeping with Company requirements and standards
- Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:- Genuine interest in RF and Electrical metrology, in order to become an expert.
- Experience with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and attenuators
- Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, multi-meters, thermometers is an asset
- Good repair and troubleshooting skills
- Willing to perform extensive calibrations at customer sites
