Description:Position Summary: We are currently searching for a Revenue Accountant to join the finance team. Working closely with the corporate and divisional finance teams, the Revenue Accountant will have responsibility to ensure accurate recording of all revenue related transactions and compliance of such transactions with revenue recognition accounting guidelines in accordance with ASC 606. The Revenue Accountant will also be responsible for accounting for deferred revenue, monthly account reconciliations for deferred revenue, unbilled revenue and accounts receivable, and providing accurate analyses of customer and sales metrics to both Sales and Finance management.
This position will be at our Westford, MA headquarters.
Key Responsibilities: - Analyze multi-element arrangements and process daily revenue transactions in NetSuite.
- Review executed revenue contracts and agreements to ensure revenue is recognized in accordance with ASC 606.
- Enforce internal control procedures and documentation requirements related to compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations related to unbilled receivables, accounts receivable, and deferred revenue accounts.
- Assist with analysis to establish Standalone Selling Price for product and service offerings.
- Prepare quarterly reporting schedules required by Corporate Accounting for financial statement disclosures.
- Participate in system implementations or enhancements related to ERP and revenue automation tools.
- Participate in the annual audit with the external Audit firm.
- Prepare various ad hoc reports and other special projects for management as requested.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline revenue processes and reporting.

Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
- CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
- 2- 4 years of accounting experience, preferably within a software or technology company
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite and revenue automation tool NetSuite ARM

The annual US salary range for this role is $80,000 to $95,000 base salary plus annual bonus. This range represents NETSCOUT's good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary within or, in some cases, outside this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
