Full Job Description
This job is posted in multiple locations. When not at a client site, consultants work from their home office. Relocation is not required.

As a Retail (eCommerce) Senior Consultant at Clarkston you will:

Lead strategic and operational initiatives across retail, eCommerce, omnichannel, and store operations

Partner with client executives to define priorities, establish governance, and translate business objectives into executable plans

Lead eCommerce implementations, digital transformation, and enterprise retail improvement initiatives

Manage cross-functional teams across business, technology, store operations, Clarkston, and third-party partners

Drive execution by managing scope, timelines, risks, budgets, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment

Support business development through client relationships, solution design, presentations, and proposals

Requirements

What We're Looking For
  • Experience leading complex business or technology transformation programs within retail, consumer products, or related industries
  • Experience delivering at least one enterprise eCommerce platform implementation, replatforming, or migration project
  • Experience managing third-party implementation partners or systems integrators
  • Strong project and program management capabilities, including governance, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and executive communication
  • Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with client executives and cross-functional business leaders
  • Excellent analytical, facilitation, and communication skills, including strong written and verbal communication
  • Flexibility and adaptability to lead strategic planning while supporting day-to-day program execution
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with leading commerce platforms such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), Adobe Commerce (Magento), SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), BigCommerce, or similar platforms
  • Consulting experience serving retail or consumer products clients


Travel Requirement

Travel is an integral part of this role and is estimated to average 30-50%. This may vary based upon client and project needs. When not traveling, consultants work from their home office. Relocation is not required.
