Job DescriptionThe Resident CareDirector manages and directs a high-quality Assisted Living Program providing superior care services delivered with compassion. As a motivational leader this individual supervises and coordinates resident assessments, medications, safety procedures, and department budgets.
What will I do every day?
- Complete accurate and regular resident assessments
- Determine the appropriate level of care
- Maintain all resident information, files, and reports
- Supervise and administer all resident medications
- Maintain emergency plans and meet all safety requirements
- Coordinate care provided by third parties, maintaining positive relationships with a variety of third-party care providers
- Manage Assisted Living budget and expenses
- Forecast and schedule necessary levels of staffing
- Conduct departmental planning and forecasting
- Hire and train care team associates
- Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction
Special Requirements/Certifications:
- Registered Nurse required
- Three to five years of supervisory experience
- BS degree in human services, psychology, nursing, or related fields
- Experience working with seniors
- Experienced working with Microsoft Office and with Assisted Living software programs
- CPR Certified
- First Aid Certified
- Universal Precautions trained
