Salary Range: $37.85 to $56.77 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Days
Status: Temporary Full-Time (Approximately 12 months)

Position Summary

The Division of General and Bariatric Surgery at UHN is welcoming applications for a Research Associate I position.

This position is in the dry lab environment, with focus on research in education, simulation, innovation, clinical studies and outcomes and quality improvement.

The successful candidate is a PhD or a PhDc with expertise in education, simulation, qualitative and quantitative methodology.

Duties
  • Manage and coordinate the research program for three Principal Investigators
  • Protocol development, planning, implementation and coordination
  • REB and Grant applications submission and management
  • Study participant recruitments
  • Statistical analysis and manuscript writing and editing
  • Participate in research studies as a primary or co-author
  • Coach and supervise junior trainees (students, residents, fellows) in their research endeavors
  • Organize weekly research meetings
  • Networking and collaborating with other scientists
