RELEX Technical ConsultantRole OverviewThe Technical Consultant is a hands-on technical contributor focused on the technical aspects of RELEX implementations, including environment setup, building integrations, data transformations/validation, and troubleshooting technical issues in coordination with customer IT and project leadership.
This role supports technical workshops, executes assigned technical deliverables, and applies RELEX technical best practices while rapidly building platform expertise.
Key ResponsibilitiesIntegration Build & Data Handling- Build and support integrations between RELEX and customer IT systems, including data import, transformation, and export activities.
- Configure RELEX-side integration components, perform data transformations and validation, and support file transfer/access topics with client IT.
- Perform technical data analysis and assist with resolving data/interface issues during implementation.
Environment Setup & Technical Execution- Execute technical tasks that may require RELEX-side access (e.g., environment setup) and support troubleshooting where partners may not have access.
- Participate in technical workshops and working sessions; document technical decisions and implementation details as needed.
Troubleshooting & Customer Support- Investigate technical issues affecting implementations or SaaS services and support resolution with guidance from senior technical leads.
- Provide responsive technical support to customer IT teams for integration and environment-related topics.
Quality & Best Practice Adoption- Conduct technical quality checks, follow delivery standards, and incorporate feedback from senior technical consultants.
- Build RELEX platform expertise through formal onboarding and hands-on tasks (e.g., integration architecture, interfaces, jobs, validation, nightly run concepts).
What Success Looks Like - Integrations and environments are set up correctly; data loads/transformations validate cleanly and consistently.
- Issues are diagnosed efficiently and escalated with clear evidence and context.
- The consultant steadily increases independence across integration build, troubleshooting, and workshop participation.
Qualifications- A bachelor's degree or college diploma in a field related to the business service
- Motivation to solve technical problems and propose solutions in a client-facing environment.
- Foundational programming experience and comfort working with data/integrations. Experience with Restful Web Services.
- Understanding of RELEX data requirements and interfaces.
- Understanding of relational databases; Strong in SQL; basic Linux/Unix skills
- Good at understanding the data, identifying incorrect data patterns, and troubleshooting and finding root cause of data issues
- Strong communication and time management skills.
