Job Overview

We are seeking a rehabilitation supervisor for Fairview's system NICU Occupational Therapy team.

This supervisor will have operational responsibility over the OT team across Fairview University and 4 community hospital NICUs. The supervisor is responsible for staff development, performance management, managing resources, clinic and/or hospital operations, regulatory oversite, and leadership. In collaboration with the patients and families, the supervisor is responsible for providing safe and effective delivery of patient care within scope of practice for the discipline they are credentialed. This includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, planning, intervention and establishing outcomes.
  • FTE: 1.0, authorized for 80 hours per pay period. (0.55 in patient care and 0.45 admin).
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00pm

Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
  • Productivity management - manages day to day staffing to achieve productivity targets, schedule utilization and show rate Staffing - identify volume needs and staffs appropriately
  • Understanding of financial metrics including monthly reporting and contributes to success of department financials
  • Responsible for day to day operations including but not limited to p-card oversite, supply ordering to stay within budget targets

  • Conducts annual performance reviews with direct reports, working collaboratively with director on appropriate ratings/increases

Required Qualifications
  • 1 year experience in Rehab Services clinician role
  • Active MN licensure in a field of Occupational Therapy
  • Basic Life Support (American Heart Association or Red Cross) Active Minnesota

Preferred Qualifications
  • Occupational Therapy Licensure in State of Minnesota
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • 1+ year leadership experience
  • 1+ year (s) NICU/PICU and/or infant feeding experience
  • Certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
  • 3+ years experience
