Full Job Description
The Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with complex and serious medical conditions in a fast-paced, high-acuity clinical environment. This role requires advanced assessment skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to respond effectively to rapidly changing patient conditions. The RN collaborates with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated, inclusive, and evidence-based care that promotes optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient status and response to treatment
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and other prescribed treatments safely and accurately
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, procedures, and discharge planning
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

• Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
