Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking an experienced and compassionate
On-Call Registered Nurse to support our Overland Park hospice team. This role is essential to delivering timely, skilled, and meaningful end-of-life care in patients' homes-exactly when they and their families need it most. If you thrive in autonomous nursing, value connection, and want your work to truly matter, this position stands out.
Requirements- Active Missouri or Compact RN License
- Minimum 1 year of hospice experience required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and organization skills
Responsibilities- Respond to patient and family needs
- Complete routine and as-needed home visits
- Triage urgent situations and manage symptoms
- Collaborate with physicians and the hospice team
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
