Job Details

Our MRI RNs:

  • Ensures seamless, efficient, and patient-centered care during MRI procedures and appropriate monitoring of patients during and after sedation given for MRI procedures.
  • Administers, plans, initiates and evaluates nursing care to patients with knowledge and skill.
  • Responds appropriately to the special needs of each group served specific to age, language, gender, culture, religion/spirituality, economic background, education or literacy, developmental or cognitive disabilities, physical and developmental disabilities.
  • Maintains professional competency and seeks opportunity for self-growth.
  • Maintains Continuing Education hours relevant tot he clinical area.
  • Practices regular hand hygiene and complies with standard and transmission based precautions as applicable.
  • Aids in the orientation/mentoring of new employees.
  • Delegates tasks to the appropriate personnel while retaining responsibility and accountability.
  • Retains knowledge of all emergency procedures and drills.
  • Ensures that personnel and equipment are in constant readiness to respond to patient emergencies.
  • Knowledge of all department and unit-based performance improvement data and activities.
  • Shares knowledge and expertise through mentoring, huddles and/or staff meetings.
  • Supports administrative decisions and changes within the department.
  • Participates with Nurse Manager/Supervisor as Clinical Coordinator in resolving personnel problems.

What you'll bring:

  • 1+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in an acute care setting.
  • 1+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in radiology/MRI preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree.
  • Will consider Associates Degree if enrolled in accredited BSN program.
  • Licensure: New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License required.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.

 

Posted Salary RangeUSD $56.39 - USD $77.34 /Hr.
