Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• 1-2 years experience in Emergency Services, Perioperative Services, Medical Surgical Services, or Skilled Nursing Services preferred.
• Current State of California Nursing license.
• Current BLS certification is mandatory.
• ACLS certification required upon hire for Med/Surg and House Supervisor roles.
• PALS certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire and Basic Arrhythmia certification within the same timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients.
• Monitor and assess patient health according to California Nursing Practice Act.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to plan patient care.
• Administer medication and treatments as required.
• Educate patients and families on health management and recovery.
• Participate in emergency services and provide critical care when necessary.
• Be available for on-call duties to ensure patient care continuity.
