Job Description

Provides professional patient care for all patients following established standards and practices. Serves as a role model for Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants and LVNs by providing leadership which fosters positive attitudes and change, as well as supports management policies and procedures. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care of patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. Assists in the organization and daily function of the procedure room in accordance with established federal, state and accreditation standards and facility policies and procedures. Assists in overseeing patient care activities in the pre-procedure, procedure and recovery areas and maintains a high standard of safety for the patient and other staff members.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
  • 1 year of Nursing experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Upon hire: Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Certification

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
