How you'll make an impact in this role- Deliver expert direct patient care promoting compassionate support, ensuring safe vascular access, and quality outcomes.
- Lead ultrasound-guided peripheral and central line insertions, supporting timely treatment plans, reducing complications, and improving patient flow across the hospital.
- Coordinate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to evaluate complex cases, recommend appropriate venous access devices, and optimize care coordination for high-acuity patients.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
What additional preferences we're seeking- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
- Experience in the ICU, Pediatric Critical Care, and / or experience with ultrasound guided IV insertion
