How you'll make an impact in this role

  • Lead the Nursing Shift Coordinator team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care while meeting daily clinical and operational objectives .
  • Coordinate nursing assignments based on patient acuity, staffing needs, physician priorities , and population-specific care requirements .
  • Monitor nursing staff performance, provide education , and promote clinical quality, patient safety , compliance, and productivity standards .
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to resolve patient care concerns, coordinate resources, and support effective care delivery.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted.
  • Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in adult critical care setting.
    • Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Required if working in labor & delivery setting.
    • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Required if working in labor & delivery setting.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Accepted. Required if working in pediatric critical care setting.


Education:

  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
