Schedule: Full-time | Day shift | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | Monday-Friday | 40 hours per week
How you'll make an impact in this roleLead the delivery of quality patient care and adherence to policies, procedures and case management
protocols.
- Actively participate in the process of monitoring, guiding and evaluating nursing staff performance.
- Responsible for coordinating activities, prioritizing workflow, and promoting decision-making and
problem solving. - Serve as a first point of escalation for team members needing consultation for and/or management of patients requiring complex or advanced treatment/care.
- Provide onboarding support to new associates. Functions as a preceptor to new associates and works with management to develop and adjust the orientation plan.
- Provide input into hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff as well a
day-to-day operational support to management as needed.
What minimum requirements you'll needLicensure / Certification / Registration:- Required Credential:
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Preferred Credential(s):
- Case Manager credentialed from the American Case Management Association (ACMA).
- Case Manager credentialed from the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCMC).
Education:- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, OR Associate's degree, OR Technical degree
required. Master's degree preferred.
Work Experience:- 1 year of experience required.
What additional preferences we're seeking- 5+ years hospital experience preferred
- 3+ years case manager experience preferred
