Responsibilities

Your future role at a glance

Location: Austin, TX

Facility: Dell Seton Medical Center

Department/Speciality: Case Management

Schedule: Full-time | Day shift | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM | Monday-Friday | 40 hours per week

How you'll make an impact in this role

Lead the delivery of quality patient care and adherence to policies, procedures and case management

protocols.

  • Actively participate in the process of monitoring, guiding and evaluating nursing staff performance.
  • Responsible for coordinating activities, prioritizing workflow, and promoting decision-making and
    problem solving.
  • Serve as a first point of escalation for team members needing consultation for and/or management of patients requiring complex or advanced treatment/care.
  • Provide onboarding support to new associates. Functions as a preceptor to new associates and works with management to develop and adjust the orientation plan.
  • Provide input into hiring, training, directing, development and evaluation of staff as well a
    day-to-day operational support to management as needed.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Required Credential:

    • Case Manager credentialed from the American Case Management Association (ACMA).

Work Experience:

  • 1 year of experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • 5+ years hospital experience preferred
  • 3+ years case manager experience preferred
