What this job involves:

The Regional Workplace Manager is responsible for leading day-to-day facilities management operations for their assigned client locations, ensuring exceptional workplace experiences that support productivity, collaboration, and employee satisfaction. This role serves as the primary on-site leader coordinating all workplace services while maintaining the client's workplace standards and culture.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Oversee all aspects of facility operations including maintenance, engineering services, workplace experience, and vendor management
  • Lead and develop on-site teams including Workplace Coordinators, Guest Services Ambassadors, and technical staff
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the client's local leadership team on all workplace and facilities matters
  • Implement site-specific workplace strategies aligned with the client's global standards and local requirements
  • Manage site budgets and financial performance, identifying opportunities for cost optimization
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, health and safety regulations, and corporate policies
  • Coordinate workplace projects including small renovations, furniture reconfigurations, and space planning
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with building management, vendors, and service providers
  • Oversee the resolution of workplace issues through effective service request management
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace experience and operational efficiency
  • Coordinate special events, meetings, and workplace activities to support the client's culture
  • Prepare and present regular reports on site financial performance & service delivery


Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management or workplace services
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience leading facility teams
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and workplace operations
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and service contracts
  • Proficiency in facilities management software, Google Workspace, Slack and similar office productivity tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Customer service mindset with a focus on enhancing employee experience


Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certification such as FMP, CFM, or related credential
  • Experience working in technology industry environments
  • Knowledge of workplace experience best practices and trends
  • Experience managing facilities in similar-sized corporate environments
  • Project management skills and experience leading small to medium workplace projects
  • Experience with IWMS systems and workplace technology platforms
  • Understanding of sustainability practices in facilities management
  • Knowledge of local regulations specific to the site location

Working Environment

This role is based full time on-site at the designated client location in New York with occasional travel to Chicago and Toronto, requiring regular presence to oversee operations and respond to workplace needs. The position involves walking throughout the facility daily, inspecting building systems, and addressing physical aspects of the workplace. Some evening or weekend work may be required during special events or maintenance activities. The Regional Workplace Manager operates in a dynamic, collaborative environment that values innovation, employee experience, and operational excellence.

Estimated compensation for this position:

170,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
