Full Job Description
EthosEnergy is seeking a results-driven Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute regional strategies that increase orders, strengthen customer relationships, and generate new business. The successful candidate will lead sales across the assigned territory, grow existing accounts, and pursue new opportunities through targeted market initiatives. By partnering closely with customers, the Regional Sales Manager will develop account strategies, monitor industry trends, and align EthosEnergy solutions with customer needs to create long-term value.

Key responsibilities include driving regional growth through territory planning, key account management, and new business development; strengthening customer relationships and positioning EthosEnergy solutions based on market and customer needs; and maintaining accurate forecasts, pipeline data, and sales reports while collaborating with internal teams. The Regional Sales Manager must live within the region they support.

Performance Measures: Performance is evaluated against agreed individual objectives, sales order intake (SOI) targets, sold margins, customer strategy and penetration, Salesforce effectiveness, and forecast accuracy.

Dimension / Scope: This role is responsible for generating $2M-$35M in annual sales order intake. The Regional Sales Manager will develop and execute a sales strategy and plan for approval by the Regional Sales Director and Vice President of Sales for the Western Hemisphere and will report to the assigned Regional Sales Director.

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyze sector trends and key accounts to develop targeted go-to-market strategies aligned with customer goals and business priorities.
  • Understand each customer's purchasing and decision-making processes.
  • Expand product penetration and strengthen customer relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Build strong relationships between client and EthosEnergy leadership teams to understand business objectives and align delivery standards with customer expectations.
  • Meet or exceed regional sales targets in partnership with commercial, technical, and operational teams.
  • Manage the assigned territory and target accounts to maximize regional coverage and sales opportunities.
  • Retain and grow existing revenue while identifying, qualifying, proposing, and closing new opportunities.
  • Monitor regional competitors and market pricing to position offerings effectively, streamline proposals and negotiations, and improve win rates within business expectations.
  • Provide regular product-line feedback on pricing, costs, delivery schedules, quality, and emerging customer needs to maintain competitiveness and guide new offerings.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, customer focus, accountability, excellence, and high performance.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and effectively manage sales plans, forecasts, deal strategies, territory plans, and the overall pipeline.
  • Manage daily priorities effectively to support regional growth and demonstrate strong time-management skills.
  • Develop proficiency in EthosEnergy products and services, including their strengths, limitations, value propositions, and competitive differentiators.

  • Proven ability to develop geography-specific customer strategies within a targeted, segmented regional sales plan.
  • Experience working within a structured sales cadence that supports continuous improvement.
  • Proven ability to align operations with sales strategy to ensure seamless execution and customer success.
  • Experience refining sales strategy through weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews that keep the business aligned.

Experience

  • 7+ years' B2B industrial sales experience.
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics and a commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Ability to develop and present programs to both customers and sales organizations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Self-motivated with high energy. Ability to plan and execute responsibilities working independently.
  • Technical skills required to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on client requirement.
  • Strong Critical & Strategic thinking skills; Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Significant travel required to attend meetings, training, or conferences.
  • Ability to sit, walk, reach, climb, stoop and lift (up to 25 pounds).
