Description

The Regional Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving new business growth while developing

and expanding relationships with existing clients within an assigned geographic territory and

designated industry verticals. This role manages the full sales cycle - from prospecting and

business development through proposal development, contract negotiation, and ongoing

account management - to deliver both one-time project services and multi-year compliance

partnerships.

As a trusted advisor to customers, the Regional Sales Account Executive identifies client needs, develops

tailored compliance solutions, and collaborates with Sotera's technical experts to ensure

exceptional customer outcomes. Success in this role requires a consultative sales approach,

strong business development skills, the ability to build long-term relationships, and a passion

for helping clients solve complex regulatory and operational challenges.

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Regional Sales Account Executive will play a key role in

expanding Sotera's market presence and strengthening our position as the nation's leading

industrial refrigeration compliance and Process Safety Management (PSM) services provider.

Requirements

  • Acquire and maintain new clients for Sotera.
  • Prospect through networking, cold-calls, trade shows, and other potential avenues.
  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding bookings/ sales goals for assigned region.
  • Responsible for owning and managing all stages of the sales process.
  • Develop new business by both directly calling on new accounts and following through independently on all leads - whether self-generated or marketing-sourced.
  • Coordinate with Sotera partner companies to identify leads and cross-sell and upsell services to existing clients.
  • Communicate market trends, competitive info, new opportunities, and the voice of the customer to Sotera Leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in close collaboration with all disciplines of the Sotera and partner organizations, including Sotera Leadership Team, Operations, Project Management, and Engineering, to maximize demand creation and customer growth
  • Familiarity and membership in associations including such ASHRAE, RETA, IIAR or others is beneficial.
  • Guide customers to develop and execute on insightful and action-oriented business plans utilizing key Sotera differentiators to develop roadmap for sustained growth.
  • Understand and embrace Sotera's strong quality and customer commitments and work with all facets of the organization, to ensure that Sotera maintains the highest levels in internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Embrace and ensure data integrity in Sotera CRM - Salesforce
  • Requires extensive travel (50% +)
