Full Job Description
As a Regional Operations Manager you will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly and yearly sales objectives, customer service and customer experience goals. You will foster a positive and collaborative working relationship with the retailer network that results in win-win solutions to business challenges and maximizes opportunities within the market. You will be responsible for implementing processes and solutions to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty amongst our Polestar Spaces and Service Points (retail network). This role will focus on all facets of the retail business to ensure a benchmark CX journey, from order intake to aftercare during a consumer's ownership. You will also be responsible to support local marketing activities. This position is field based in either Montreal, QC or Toronto, ON and requires frequent, overnight travel throughout Canada. What you'll do • Act as the primary point of contact for dealer management, building strong trust-based relationships focused on sales performance and customer experience. • Lead, motivate, and influence the Polestar retailer network to achieve retail objectives. • Partner with retailer as a data-driven advisor, using reporting and analytics to identify opportunities, coach performance and drive continuous improvement. • Drive retail sales performance through regular, high-impact field visits to increase volume, market share and profitability. • Derive actionable takeaways from pre & post-retailer visit reports that provide clear outcomes, actions items and timelines for completion, holding proper stakeholders accountable. • Prepare and present monthly sales performance calls with the Polestar retailer network. • Provide accurate and timely weekly sales forecasting to support corporate planning and target delivery. • Ensure initiatives, resources and timing are aligned to the overall corporate business goals. • Support cross-functional collaboration to align strategic initiatives, optimize execution and support Polestar leadership team. • Work closely with the Customer Experience team to support and monitor customer satisfaction, ensuring effective action plans drive a premium customer experience. Who you are • 5+ years of experience in sales, dealer management, or field operation, preferably in the automotive industry • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance or related field. • Proven record of delivering sales target and building high performing dealer partnerships in automotive, OEM or multi-location luxury retail environments • Ability to lead, coach, and drive alignment without direct authority • Data driven decision maker who converts KPIs and field insights into clear actions and measurable results • Bilingual English and French required • Strong understanding of automotive retail, including OEM models, and third-party stakeholder management. • Ability to think strategically, work tactically, with strong project management skills and present to C-level executive teams and retailer principals alike. • Agile leader comfortable working independently in fast paced, evolving and geographically dispersed environments, with willingness to travel and support peak business periods.
