About the Role: The Regional Maintenance Manager works closely with location and region management teams to provide maintenance status and budget updates. The position also involves ensuring a safe environment exists and that all maintenance activities comply with State, Federal, and Company requirements.

Salary Range: $121,000-$151,000 Annually

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors, evaluates, and takes corrective action for improved performance of maintenance operations within region.
  • Examines and evaluates current operations to develop action plans and strategies to maximize operational efficiencies.
  • Fills in as Maintenance Manager when vacancies occur, and assist General Managers with hiring new Maintenance Managers.
  • Trains and oversees new and current Maintenance Manager in company requirements.
  • Reviews KPI, WAR, FMS, and Financial reports to identify problem/ challenge areas.
  • Participates in start-ups and shutdowns as necessary.
  • Assists with compliance regarding all environmental programs.
  • Conducts annual vehicle audits for all locations in region.
  • Monitors competition of maintenance related deficiencies reported on corporate audits.
  • Provides feedback to General managers and Region Staff as to the performance of maintenance managers in region
  • Performs other duties and special projects as assigned by the Director of Maintenance or RVP.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Advance technical training.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Five years proven experience in passenger transportation or comparable service industry maintenance management.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various performance indicators including KPI, WAR, DataStream and financial statements.
  • Independent thinking skills with high levels of prioritization skills.
  • Excellent leadership, customer relations, and interpersonal skills to communicate and cooperate with clients and other department.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and tools.
  • Committed to a Safety Lifestyle.
  • Valid driver's license.
