AMER - Regional Facilities Manager (RFM)

Role Overview - Every day, we set the highest standard for regional operations, experience, customer service, financial acumen, and technical knowledge for our fast-moving, big-tech Client. We pride ourselves on delivering excellence in the care and comfort of every guest, client, and employee that we interact with, while maintaining incredible facilities and fast-moving teams across the region.

As a senior regional leader within a tech-forward culture, the Regional Facilities Manager promotes high performance and operational rigor while ensuring the highest standards across all service delivery throughout their assigned territory. This role requires an enthusiastic, highly collaborative professional who can lead through culture, people leadership, regional integration, hospitality, and connection. You will bring complete transparency and accountability to everything we do-seamlessly blending regional mechanical and hard services with magical workplace experiences to achieve a unified, best-in-class integrated facilities environment.

What This Job Involves
Regional Service Delivery & Experience Management
  • Holistic Regional Management: Oversee and manage all assigned sites within the region in strict accordance with all agreed policies, procedures, and contract scopes. Ensure hard facilities maintenance and soft employee experiences operate as a singular, cohesive program across the entire territory.
  • Cross-Site Operations Governance: Standardize and oversee all regional Operations, Events, Engineering, Reception, Mailroom, Sustainability, Occupancy Planning, and Moves Adds Changes, ensuring a unified workplace culture.
  • Magical Workplace Experiences: Drive the workplace experience by infusing hospitality-first mindsets into routine facility tasks. Leverage real-time regional help desk feedback and metrics into frictionless, positive brand experiences.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy & Integration: Coordinate, collaborate, and unify diverse onsite and regional partner programs-including Workspace Services, Food Services, Fitness, Massage, Transportation, Space Management, Property Management, and Security-to break down operational silos and deliver a single-team approach across the portfolio.
  • Regional Moves & Portfolio Transitions: Partner actively with regional Space Management and move teams during building moves, adds, changes, and site activations. Manage live 'Day 1' details across properties to positively shift employee perception and ensure seamless regional operational readiness.

Critical Operations, Regional Vendor & Risk Management
  • Asset & Infrastructure Stewardship: Take overall operational accountability for critical systems across all regional sites, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, generator operations, and life-safety systems.
  • Regional Risk & Compliance Management: Ensure absolute compliance with all health and safety, environment, and risk management policies and procedures across the territory. Maintain local health and safety requirements for all regional jurisdictions and lead emergency preparedness protocols and business continuity at a regional level.
  • Vendor Performance Excellence: Manage regional and third-party vendor performance to ensure services are delivered to the highest standards. Meticulously document, manage, and escalate instances of poor performance and contract deviations across the region, while identifying continuous process and cost efficiencies.
  • Maintenance Execution Oversight: Oversee regional repairs, routine maintenance, and minor capital works from inception to completion, ensuring prompt issue resolution across all assets.

Client Relationships, Accountability & Strategy
  • Strategic Client Partnerships: Proactively develop, manage, and nurture relationships with the client's regional and executive leadership, ensuring expected service levels are consistently achieved across the territory.
  • Contractual KPI Compliance: Comply with all requirements of the client contract, bringing deep visibility to regional outcomes to meet or exceed established Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Strategic Plan Implementation: Lead the development, implementation, and quarterly tracking of the region's comprehensive Annual Management Plan, making data-driven recommendations to drive sub-regional success.

Financial Accountability & Value Creation
  • Regional Fiscal Stewardship: Manage and own the comprehensive annual capital and operating expenditures for all assigned regional site(s) strictly within agreed budgets, ensuring extreme financial transparency.
  • Portfolio Budgeting & Variance Reporting: Manage annual regional budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes. Review and approve consolidated variance reports, ensuring strict alignment within delegated financial and contractual authorities.

Leadership, Staff Management & Development
  • High-Performing Regional Team Leadership: Lead, manage, develop, and supervise a professional, friendly, creative, and detail-oriented team of integrated facility managers across the region. Serve as an ambassador for JLL by adopting and maintaining the core values of Teamwork, Ethics, and Excellence.
  • Training & Onboarding Excellence: Provide exceptional regional onboarding, technical training (including Space Management RASCI alignments), and strategic team-building initiatives to set regional personnel up for operational success.
  • Performance Programs: Actively participate in individual performance management programs and personal development planning, driving regional team cohesion and professional growth.

Sound like you? To apply you need to possess:
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in facilities management, property operations, corporate hospitality leadership, or a closely related field. At least 5 years of dedicated supervisory experience managing a diverse, multi-disciplinary facilities team or management-level staff is required.
  • Education: A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Facility Management, Property Management, Business Administration, Business Operations, Engineering, or a hospitality-related field is highly desirable. Professional industry certifications (e.g., IFMA CFM, PMP) are a significant advantage.
  • Technical & System Literacy: Proficient in a wide range of information technology tools, workplace management platforms, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Ability to leverage Google Suite tools to interpret real-time data, facilities tickets, space utilization charts, and audit data integrity across the regional portfolio.
  • Financial & Analytical Acuity: Exceptional financial management skills with a proven track record of building and managing multi-million dollar regional operational and capital budgets. Ability to accurately forecast expenditures, manage vendor payments, and generate comprehensive actual-versus-budget variance reports that analyze spend to drive alternative efficiency and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Communication, Presence & Presentation: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills. Proven experience in navigating complex client matrices, proactively managing executive-level client relationships, addressing high-stakes friction points, and speaking confidently in front of senior leaders and regional employee forums.
  • Organizational Skills & Physical Requirements: Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
