Overview

Konica Minolta has an exciting opportunity for a Regional Business Development Manager - Dealer to drive growth and expand business opportunities within an assigned portfolio of small and mid-sized dealer partners across the United States. This role is responsible for executing sales strategies that support dealers in the major account market segment, helping them identify, pursue, and win new business. Key responsibilities include providing guidance and support throughout the sales cycle, including account identification, customer engagement, bid and proposal support, pricing management, and post-sale account assistance. This is a remote position that may require approved travel for customer-facing events, key dealer meetings, and other business-related activities.

Responsibilities

Essential Responsibilities
  • Partner with assigned dealers to execute strategies that drive major account growth and revenue.
  • Provide guidance on sales strategy, pricing, contract positioning, and competitive differentiation.
  • Serve as a resource for Healthcare, SLED, and other strategic vertical markets.
  • Collaborate with dealer sales teams throughout the sales cycle, including opportunity development, proposal strategy, and customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealer leadership, sales teams, and key internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal partners to ensure timely support, issue resolution, and successful execution of sales initiatives.
  • Analyze business performance, identify growth opportunities, and recommend actions to achieve sales objectives.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, activity reports, and other required business documentation.
  • Complete special projects and initiatives as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technology sales, business development, account management, channel sales, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Experience working with dealer, channel, or indirect sales organizations preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across internal and external teams.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Working knowledge of strategic account management and consultative selling practices.
