Job Summary

Maintains Develops plans to increase new business. Builds relationships to drive sales and profitability for new accounts that are regional in scope and make regional purchasing decisions. Drives sales by creating, executing and communicating business plans to grow sales. Negotiates regional contracts consistent with industry management goals. Ensures effective implementation of regional account programs through all sales channels.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Researches, develops and acquires account opportunities within targeted regional markets.


  • Work with local and regional engineering / consultant firms and utilities to specify our products.


  • Work with rep agencies to grow product sales and specifications for utilities.


  • Develop and maintain working relationships with Regional customer base. Strategically plan customer visits to cultivate relationships, perform presentations, offer innovative programs, conduct business reviews, and communicate plans. Participates in local and regional trade associations and conferences.


  • Develops and executes profitable business plans for managing accounts. Teams with sales and individuals other key corporate personnel to communicate account plans, pricing, and offer assistance to drive sales.

Requirements

  • Knowledge in assigned product lines is preferred.


  • Experience managing Regional or National Accounts in a Supply Chain environment preferred.


  • Knowledge of Miller Heiman's Strategic Selling and Large Account Management Process concepts.


  • Typically requires overnight travel 50%+ of the time.


Pay: $115,681.11 - $165,258.72 per year.
