We are looking for a talented Recruiting Leader (Moderate Region) to join our team specializing in Human Resources for Cummins Inc. in Indianapolis, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
  • Serve as a trusted recruitment advisor and subject matter expert, leveraging market intelligence, talent analytics, and workforce trends to influence business decisions, improve hiring outcomes, and enhance the candidate experience.
  • Build strong partnerships across HR, business leaders, and external stakeholders, creating alignment on talent strategies and accelerating the organization's ability to attract and secure top talent.
  • Establish and drive recruiting excellence, implementing scalable processes, technologies, and standards that improve efficiency, consistency, compliance, and overall hiring performance across the region.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing recruitment team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement while consistently exceeding operational and strategic recruiting goals.
  • Optimize recruitment investments and resources, ensuring effective budget management, strong financial stewardship, and full compliance with applicable employment laws and corporate policies.
  • Champion innovation and digital transformation in talent acquisition, identifying and implementing advanced recruiting technologies and data-driven solutions that streamline processes and improve hiring effectiveness.
  • Design and execute forward-thinking recruitment strategies, aligning talent acquisition initiatives with business priorities, regional market dynamics, and long-term workforce planning needs.
  • Lead organizational change and continuous improvement efforts, driving adoption of new recruiting practices, building team resilience, and ensuring the recruitment function remains agile, competitive, and future-ready.


Responsibilities

To be successful in this role you will need the following:
  • Lead change effectively by applying structured change management principles to engage stakeholders, drive adoption of new recruitment initiatives, and sustain business outcomes during periods of transformation.
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform decisions, transforming recruitment metrics and workforce insights into compelling data stories that influence strategy, measure success, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Act as a strategic HR consultant, partnering with business leaders and HR stakeholders to diagnose talent challenges, provide balanced recommendations, and deliver solutions that meet both organizational and employee needs.
  • Execute HR processes with excellence, ensuring recruiting operations are efficient, compliant, accurate, and agile while balancing process requirements with business priorities to achieve optimal hiring outcomes.


Qualifications

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.

Experience:

Extensive experience in Talent Acquisition or other HR Business Partnership or Operations roles.

This role is responsible for shaping and delivering end-to-end recruiting strategies that drive business impact across diverse functions and geographies. The leader will combine operational excellence with strategic talent advisory, ensuring our hiring outcomes strengthen workforce capability and align to enterprise priorities

Key responsibilities.
  • Full cycle recruiting: Lead the recruiting lifecycle from sourcing through placement, ensuring speed, quality, and candidate experience excellence.
  • Stakeholder management: Partner with senior business leaders, HR, and cross-functional stakeholders to anticipate talent needs, influence decisions, and deliver aligned outcomes.
  • Strategic talent advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor, translating workforce insights into actionable hiring strategies that strengthen organizational capability.
  • Advanced analytics: Use data, market intelligence, and predictive insights to guide hiring decisions, advise leaders, and continuously improve recruiting performance.
  • Team leadership: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing recruiting team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Drive continuous improvement across recruiting processes, tools, and candidate experience.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in all recruiting strategies and outcomes.


Preferred Experience:
  • Talent Acquisition experience supporting manufacturing environments, with demonstrated success recruiting skilled trades, engineering, operations, and production.
