About the RoleThis is a full-cycle recruiting role at a small, fast-moving AI/ML startup where every hire meaningfully shapes the company. You'll own talent acquisition end-to-end across technical and GTM functions, working directly alongside founders to bring in exceptional engineers and go-to-market leaders.
What You'll Do- Own end-to-end recruiting across engineering, product, and GTM roles.
- Build and optimize recruiting operations and tooling, automating workflows wherever possible.
- Partner with founders and team leads to define role requirements, evaluation criteria, and interview processes.
- Develop a strong understanding of a technical AI product to pitch and engage candidates credibly.
- Source top candidates through high-signal and unconventional channels.
- Screen candidates for both technical competence and product/market intuition, using portfolios and projects alongside resumes.
- Support new hire onboarding and ramp.
- Help define and run performance review processes, leveling, and feedback systems.
What We're Looking For- 3+ years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter owning both technical (engineering, product) and GTM hiring.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts well enough to credibly screen engineering and product candidates.
- Experience working in an early-stage startup environment with a high degree of autonomy.
- Track record of building and optimizing recruiting ops, including workflow automation.
- Strong instincts for talent quality and experience evaluating non-traditional candidate profiles.
- Creative sourcing strategies and comfort working with high-signal, unconventional pipelines.
- Familiarity with modern recruiting tools such as Ashby, Juicebox, or Clay.
- Experience with AI-assisted workflow automation or "vibe coding" to streamline recruiting processes.
- Exposure to or ownership of People Operations functions (e.g., onboarding, performance reviews, leveling).
Compensation & BenefitsSalary range:
$100,000-$150,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
