JOB DESCRIPTION

Shape the future of product delivery while crafting solutions that enhance and optimize customer experiences.

As a Product Delivery Manager within Emerging Payment Rails, you will drive intentional, scalable, and repeatable delivery practices that support global growth. You will translate customer and business objectives into actionable requirements, orchestrate cross-functional execution, and continuously improve how products are implemented and operated. By partnering across Product, Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance, you will help deliver innovative payment capabilities with speed, quality, and a strong focus on client experience.

Job Responsibilities

  • Apply expertise in RTP, faster payments, and global payment ecosystems to drive compliant, scalable delivery outcomes.
  • Lead end-to-end product delivery activities, including intake, scoping, dependency management, release management, product operationalization, delivery feasibility assessments, and performance reporting.
  • Design and implement scalable, reusable delivery frameworks and operating models that can be leveraged across regions, platforms, and client segments.
  • Develop clear, comprehensive business, functional, and operational requirements that enable efficient execution by technology and operations teams.
  • Champion the client experience by defining measurable outcomes, incorporating feedback loops, and ensuring delivery decisions optimize customer journeys and operational supportability.
  • Drive cross-functional execution across Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Controls, and Compliance partners, aligning stakeholders on scope, milestones, ownership, and decision-making.
  • Proactively manage timelines, dependencies, risks, and resource requirements while escalating issues and decisions as needed to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Establish and continuously enhance delivery standards, processes, and governance, including readiness assessments, implementation playbooks, release criteria, and post-deployment reviews.
  • Provide transparent, executive-ready reporting on program status, key dependencies, delivery outcomes, and product performance.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Strong knowledge of the U.S. payments landscape, including Real-Time Payments (RTP), ACH, Wire, Push-to-Card, digital wallet payments, and emerging payment solutions.
  • Understanding of global faster payment schemes and real-time payment networks, including payment processing flows, clearing and settlement concepts, participant models, liquidity considerations, and operational controls.
  • 5+ years of experience in payments, treasury services, financial technology, or a related financial services domain.
  • 5+ years of experience in product delivery, implementation management, platform delivery, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic objectives into clear requirements and executable plans for technology and operations teams.
  • Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and dependencies.
  • Strong understanding of delivery management methodologies and continuous improvement practices, including process standardization, root-cause analysis, and metrics-driven optimization.
  • Experience managing enterprise-level release and deployment activities.
  • Strong risk and controls mindset with experience operating in regulated environments and partnering with governance functions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions and clearly articulate trade-offs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global, matrixed organizations.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Knowledge of the product development lifecycle, product design practices, and data analytics.
  • Experience building scalable operating models, implementation frameworks, or global delivery standards.
  • Deep understanding of global and U.S. payment rails, including RTP, FedNow, Zelle, ACH, Wire, Push-to-Card, Push-to-Wallet, and international faster payment schemes (e.g., Interac e-Transfer/RTR, UPI, Faster Payments, SEPA Instant, PIX), including their operational, technology, risk, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience supporting the delivery, implementation, or modernization of payment platforms, real-time payment solutions, or cross-border payment capabilities at a global financial institution.
