Key responsibilities
We're looking for an Investment Analyst to:
• track real estate investment opportunities for the Unified Global Alternatives Real Estate Americas investment team and maintain our proprietary database
• document manager, Investment Committee and risk committee meetings, and maintain accurate records of proprietary and privileged investment materials
• support risk reviews, including red-flag indicator analysis, to assess whether investments and portfolios remain aligned with risk parameters
• support underwriting and due diligence for potential investments and disposals through financial analysis, market research and document review
• prepare for and participate in manager meetings and ongoing due diligence
• analyse market trends, economic conditions and property-sector performance to inform portfolio rebalancing and strategy adjustments
• develop clear investment recommendations and present supporting arguments verbally and in writing, including at Investment Committee meetings
• support asset management activities, including investment monitoring, quarterly reporting and ad hoc investor reporting
• help portfolio managers prepare client reports and analyse portfolio performance, including returns, cash flows and asset valuations
• contribute to fundraising by preparing presentation materials
The team
You'll be working in the Real Estate team in Chicago within the Unified Global Alternatives Real Estate (UGA-RE) division. Our team is responsible for the sourcing, selection and diligence of direct investment opportunities for our dedicated funds and pools of capital. As an Investment Analyst, you will play an important role in supporting the review / selection of real estate investments and the monitoring of our portfolio across the Americas. This is a highly reputable team with direct access to high quality deal flow with best-in-class managers in the sector.
Your skills and experience
• a bachelor's degree in finance, economics, real estate or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• ideally, experience in real estate investment, investment analysis, asset management or a related area
• strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to leadership and clients
• proven ability to manage several projects and meet deadlines
• a detail-oriented and self-motivated approach, sound judgement and a commitment to high standards of integrity
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and turn findings into practical recommendations
• an interest in real estate markets and a willingness to learn

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - Illinois - Chicago min USD 85000 - max USD 100000 /annum
