Quality Section ManagerPosition Overview: Provide expert level leadership in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the NFS quality policies, programs, and procedures. Provide NFS Quality Control and Assurance activities supporting safe, cost effective, and on-time delivery of product that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Provide leadership, staff management and direction, and oversee client relationships. Champion for continuous improvement, performance excellence, risk reduction and a strong Quality & Safety Culture.

Your Day to Day as a Fuel Process and Development Engineering Section Manager:- Develop a Quality team with the qualifications and expertise to perform the required and necessary quality control and assurance functions.
- Enhance standards of excellence in company operations, utilizing benchmarking where feasible to promote a learning culture.
- Lead the development of standard procedures in the work place to implement Quality requirements, policies, and programs.
- Serve as the designated NFS product certification official. Manage the data validation and review, approve and certify the quality data for specified customer products.
- Lead the implementation of an integrated audit and assessment program that supports regulatory compliance, corporate assurance, and risk reduction.
- Review, edit, and approve Quality manuals, procedures, inspection procedures, sampling plans, laboratory test procedures, and calibration system manuals.
- Review inspections and audits of quality and regulatory programs; evaluate responses to findings and corrective actions for effectiveness; and provide follow-up reviews as necessary.
- Coordinate with internal/external organizations that specify Quality requirements to assure products and services are supplied that meet the required specification.
- Establish/coordinate a process to ensure quality requirements and specifications are flowed into procurement documentation and receipt inspection progress.
Required Qualifications:B. S. -- Physics, Chemistry, Engineering or Mathematics (preferred technical graduate degree).M. S. or M. B. A. preferred
Over ten years' experience in addition to the B. S. Degree. If a non-technical degree, then 10 years nuclear or chemical manufacturing experience required in addition to the ten years for a total of 20 years.

Pay: $131,480 - $207,000
The base salary range for this position in Tennessee (US-TN) at the start of employment is expected to be between $131,480 and $207,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors, and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment. If hired, the selected job candidate will be employed 'at-will,' unless employed at a location and in a position subject to a collective bargaining agreement.
