About the role

The Quality Distribution & Logistics Manager serves as the primary back-up to the Operational Quality Lead and provides quality oversight for logistics, warehousing, distribution, secondary packaging, repacking, relabeling, and display activities. This role ensures Logistics Service Providers and third-party Packaging Service Providers comply with Haleon QMS, GMP/GDP requirements, and applicable regulatory and legislative standards.

The role partners closely with supply chain, business partners, assigned third parties, and Haleon Quality teams to monitor performance, manage quality risks, resolve issues, support audits and inspections, and drive continuous improvement across logistics and packaging operations.

Role Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for GDP-related topics and act as the quality liaison between Haleon, assigned Logistics Service Providers, third-party packagers, and local, divisional, and global QA organizations.
  • Lead implementation of Haleon Quality standards, GMP/GDP requirements, and corporate quality initiatives across assigned logistics, warehousing, distribution, and packaging operations.
  • Provide quality oversight for secondary packaging, repacking, relabeling, and display activities, including issue resolution, equipment validation, approval, and release to market.
  • Monitor new and emerging regulations related to distribution, logistics, and packaging operations; anticipate required actions and support timely implementation.
  • Manage quality issues, deviations, complaints, change controls, investigations, CAPAs, recall assessments, and formal escalations impacting logistics, warehousing, distribution, and packaging operations.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance Agreements with Logistics Service Providers, warehouses, and distribution facilities are established, current, and aligned with Haleon Quality Manual and GDP requirements.
  • Support audit preparation and execution for assigned warehousing and distribution facilities and ensure commitments from Haleon or Health Authority audit observations are completed within agreed timelines.
  • Participate in regular business review meetings, track quality performance indicators, raise risks and concerns, and ensure periodic risk assessments are completed with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure processes and systems for receipt, storage, returns, warehousing, and product handling comply with Haleon QMS for medicines, medical devices, cosmetics, food, nutritional products, and toothbrushes.
  • Perform ERP transactions to support Haleon operations, Logistics Service Providers, and repackaging and relabeling locations in the United States.


Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 years of experience in the CPG, consumer healthcare, or pharmaceutical industry applying quality systems.
  • Knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements, with strong problem-solving skills to address complex technical product quality issues and events.
  • Operational Quality experience in pharmaceutical, CPG, or consumer healthcare environments, including quality systems, GMP/GDP, and packaging operations.
  • Strong ability to identify and resolve problems.


Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP ERP experience.
  • Veeva quality management system.
  • Strong investigation, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience applying risk management principles in a quality or regulated environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and negotiation skills.

Location: This is a hybrid-based position in Vonore, TN and will require 3 days a week onsite. This will also support our Third-Party Supplier in Knoxville, TN as required.

The Salary Range for this role is $106,116 - $145,908 USD + a 12% target bonus.
