Full Job Description
In this role, the Quality Manager will provide leadership in Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement by ensuring that the company meets or exceeds customer requirements by developing, improving and maintaining a consistent methodology for compliance and continuous improvement. The team you will be working with is collaborative and innovative, and values the challenging work and diversity of thought.
So, what will you be doing as a Quality Manager?
  • Monitor and improve the efficiency, output and safety of quality processes through observations and measurements as well as by collecting and interpreting data from other technical and operating personnel
  • Be responsible for safety/environmental issues involving quality
  • Partner with management to implement continuous improvement projects; assist with Lean Projects
  • Support the analysis and resolution of customer complaints. Ensures actions meet customers' expectations, are effectively implemented in the operational processes, and ultimately drive to prevention.
  • Collaborate with production to ensure quality control requirements are effectively and consistently executed
  • Develop and improve process control plans, work instructions, and production standards
  • Foster a Zero-Defect quality culture and drive quality assurance and prevention into the operational processes
  • Partners with NPD team to ensure prototypes and PPAP parts meet customer requirements
  • Available to work a flexible schedule to support production and customer needs
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business (preferred)
  • 7-10 years of quality leadership in manufacturing
  • Six Sigma Green/Black Belt or Lean certification is a plus
  • Strong communicator who thrives in cross-functional environments
  • Working knowledge of ISO standards and QMS compliance
  • Comfortable with hands-on work and production-floor collaboration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to read and interpret blueprints and use measurement tools
  • Be able to make required measurements using various measuring and test equipment
  • Some travel required
