Responsibilities:

The Quality Management Coordinator is responsible for p erforming chart auditing and focus studies, assisting the Director of Quality Management with the analysis and dissemination of data, participating in Quality Improvement activities & programs in hospice and organization, QAPI Committee and RCAs. Participates in CMS mandated Quality reporting HIS & CAHPS. Maintaining current knowledge of regulatory bodies and standards related to Hospice delivery of services and educates staff regarding quality improvement, regulatory and accrediting body issues.

Qualifications:
  • Licensed with current Registration to practice as Registered Professional Nurse in NYS is required
  • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing required
  • Experience in Hospice or Quality Management/Performance Improvement
  • Knowledge of application of Statistical Processes Control Tools, Cops and NYS DOH Regulations
