Job Summary The Quality Engineer develops quality plans from engineering drawings and determines gage and fixture requirements.
Essential Functions - Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials and products.
- Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in engineering fields such as chemical, electrical or mechanical.
- Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instruction for recording, evaluation and reporting quality and reliability data.
- Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
- Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.

Required - High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- 4 years of related experience
Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 10 years of related experience
- ASQ Certification
- APICS Certification
Hours7am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Compensation: The anticipated starting salary range for this position is $81,427 to $108,569. The exact salary may be determined on a combination of factors including the candidate's knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.
