Full Job Description

Position Summary
Creates and executes the test design and execution strategy for the engineering department coordinating with business, product, development team. Develops comprehensive test cases, scripts, and scenarios based on engineering project requirements, ensuring strong coverage of both functional and non‑functional needs.

Executes functional testing, regression testing and co-ordinates with business, product, development team to clarify on expected test outcome. Own defect creation, re-test after defect fix, close defects.

What you will do

Administers the test design and execution strategy for the engineering department; develops test cases, scripts, and scenarios based on engineering project requirements.

Analyzes the complexities of project defects and works closely with quality assurance development teams to investigate and resolve issues.

Applies in-depth knowledge of quality assurance principles to facilitate the creation of detailed test plans and schedules.

Communicates with cross-functional engineering teams to reinforce transparency, effective communication, and alignment with quality expectations. 

Completes periodic reviews within the testing environment to ensure configurations match the internal environment.

Conducts routine assessments in collaboration with the engineering team to measure and monitor performance and quality.

Configures system applications for test automation efforts to improve coverage, efficiency, and reliability.

Coordinates with IT infrastructure teams, database administrators, and system analysts to establish and maintain the testing environment.

Designs complex process improvement initiatives that use quality assurance methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Conduct User Acceptance Testing.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ Years of experience in Manual testing in IBMi application/s.

  • 3+ Years of Java-scripting.

  • 3+ Years of Automation testing.

  • 3+ Years of testing of cloud based applications.

  • 3+ Years of testing API and UI.

  • 3+ Years of experience to query data-base for cloud applications.

  • 3+ Years of testing utilizing modern-testing framework.

  • 3+ Years of using Jira/Rally or other similar tools.

  • 3+ Years of experience in testing Life-Cycle


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ Year of using AI agents.

  • 1+ Year of experience in testing PBM - claim processing application.

  • 1+ Year of using Playwright framework.

  • 1+ Year of using Karate framework.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification/equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$72,100.00 - $144,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
