About the role

As a QA Automation Lead with Media Residuals domain experience, you will make an impact by driving quality assurance strategies, automation adoption, and testing excellence across applications supporting the Media Residuals domain. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and work collaboratively with product owners, business stakeholders, development teams, and global delivery teams to ensure high-quality releases and operational excellence.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead QA activities across Media Residuals applications, ensuring alignment with business and project objectives.
  • Drive test automation adoption and identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency, quality, and coverage.
  • Manage test planning, effort estimation, execution tracking, defect management, and release sign-off activities.
  • Review and validate test artifacts including test scenarios, test cases, automation scripts, and test reports.
  • Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams while communicating testing progress, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and champion QA best practices across the delivery lifecycle.

What you need to have to be considered
  • Proven experience working within the Media Residuals domain, including Media Residuals-related platforms and applications.
  • Strong experience in test management, test planning, execution management, and defect tracking.
  • Hands-on expertise in test automation using Java and Selenium.
  • Experience performing both functional testing and automation testing in enterprise environments.
  • Experience working within an Agile delivery environment.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate activities across onsite/offshore delivery models.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern testing practices.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 to 112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
