Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
• 5 to 7 years of experience in Quality Assurance, test automation, and software testing.
• Strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable QA automation frameworks.
• Advanced programming and automation development experience using Java.
• Working knowledge of Python for test automation and scripting.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-based application testing.
• Experience testing applications deployed in AWS environments, including cloud integrations, services, and data flows.
• Experience developing and executing automated, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
• Strong understanding of Global Markets, Capital Markets, electronic trading platforms, and trading workflows.
• Experience validating the Equities and Options order lifecycle, including order capture, execution, allocation, and downstream processing.
• Experience testing Order Management Systems, Execution Management Systems, or similar trading applications.
• Strong experience with database testing, SQL queries, data validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience testing messaging and event-driven applications using Kafka, MQ, AMPS, or similar platforms.
• Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines and supporting continuous testing.
• Experience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Jira, or equivalent platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, test strategy, defect management, and quality governance.
• Ability to analyze complex application issues, perform root cause analysis, and support defect prevention.
• Strong project planning, prioritization, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams and supporting U.S. Eastern Time Zone business functions. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.

Roles & Responsibilities
• Lead QA automation initiatives for Global Markets and electronic trading applications.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java and Python.
• Develop and execute automated and functional tests for trading platforms and related applications.
• Validate Equities and Options trading workflows and end-to-end order lifecycle events.
• Define test strategies, automation approaches, test plans, and quality standards.
• Perform database validation, data analysis, reconciliation, and backend testing.
• Test messaging and event-driven integrations using Kafka, MQ, AMPS, or similar technologies.
• Validate applications, services, integrations, and data flows deployed in AWS environments.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines and support continuous testing practices.
• Coordinate QA planning, prioritization, execution, defect tracking, and release validation activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and QA professionals throughout the SDLC.
• Lead defect triage, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking.
• Monitor test execution and provide quality metrics, risks, dependencies, and status updates to stakeholders.
• Support production releases, post-deploy ment validation, and production issue analysis.
• Drive continuous improvements in automation coverage, testing efficiency, quality governance, and defect prevention.
• Provide technical guidance and support to QA team members across globally distributed teams.
• Operate effectively within a global delivery model supporting U.S. Eastern Time Zone business functions.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 a year
