Job SummaryThe Python Developer will join the Operations Technology and Shared Operations team, working closely with Operations to optimize business workflows through artificial intelligence and Large Language Model (LLM) solutions. This role focuses on Python application and library development, prompt engineering, LLM testing, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, strong Python development expertise, experience with OpenAI and LLM technologies, and the ability to collaborate with clients and subject-matter experts to translate business requirements into scalable enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development, maintenance, and ongoing support of Python libraries and applications.
- Collaborate with Operations, clients, and subject-matter experts to understand business requirements and develop effective technical solutions.
- Participate in prompt engineering and optimization activities.
- Maintain and update prompts to support new versions of LLMs.
- Conduct regular testing and performance analysis of AI and LLM-based solutions.
- Participate in prompt benchmarking experiments to evaluate and improve performance.
- Translate business requirements into well-designed and maintainable Python solutions.
- Support ongoing monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of developed solutions.
- Apply enterprise architecture principles when designing scalable applications.
- Work collaboratively within an Agile development environment.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Hands-on experience building Python applications.
- Excellent Python development skills.
- Experience with OpenAI and various LLM models.
- Experience conducting LLM testing and performance evaluations.
- Strong enterprise application architecture and design skills.
- Knowledge of Linux, shell commands, and scripting.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
