Insight Global is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to support a cutting-edge consumer electronic device initiative.

This role involves working closely with a small, collaborative team to develop prototype devices and manage complex data streams from various hardware sources. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with audio/video data processing, cloud-based development, and Python programming.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain data pipelines for audio/video input and output files.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to device data integration and storage (including SSDs).
• Collaborate on prototype device development, including hands-on assembly and testing.
• Write and optimize Python code for cloud-based applications and data workflows.
• Support the team remotely after initial in-person development phase.

Required Skills & Experience
• Strong experience in Python development, particularly for audio/video data processing.
• Proven track record of cloud coding (Azure)
• Familiarity with SSD storage systems and data handling.
• Comfortable with hands-on prototype development and technical ramp-up.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
