PROFORMA Signal Analyst to join team Nyla in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, you will bring an R&D mindset to deep-dive signal analysis, focusing on PROFORMA data streams to determine signal characteristics, define parameters, and model complex signal behavior. You will bridge the gap between network protocols and Radio Frequency (RF) environments, applying technical rigor to solve challenging operational puzzles.
The annual base salary range for this role is $121,000-$143,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills- PROFORMA Expertise: Specialized focus and demonstrated performance in PROFORMA signal analysis, structural determination, parameter definition, and behavior modeling.
- Networking & Protocols: Strong demonstrated technical performance with networking architectures and communications protocols.
- RF Signal Analysis: Hands-on experience analyzing, characterizing, and evaluating RF signals.
- Research & Development Mindset: Proven R&D flair with the ability to reverse-engineer and model complex or unfamiliar signal structures.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or Engineering Management, PLUS
12+ years of professional systems engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexity OR
High School Diploma / GED, PLUS
16+ years of hands-on technical systems engineering and architecture experience in lieu of a degree.
Desired SkillsMulti-INT Specialty: Hands-on experience with one or more specialized intelligence disciplines: COMINT, ELINT, or FISINT.
Domain Focus: Background in Weapons and Space systems evaluation (including AWCP T&E experience).
Technical Scripting: Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or C++ for signal processing automation and data modeling.
