ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED
We are seeking a Cyber Operations Planner to join team Nyla in Annapolis Junction, MD. In this role, you will be instrumental in synchronizing joint cyber operations across DOD components, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), and USCYBERCOM. You'll align full-spectrum cyberspace operations-both Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO) and Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO)-with the National Defense Strategy (NDS) and Joint Strategic Planning System (JSPS) objectives to support complex multi-domain campaigns.
The annual base salary range for this role is $112,000-$132,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
Required Skills
Operational Frameworks: Deep proficiency aligning cyberspace operations with Joint Publication (JP 3-12), National Defense Strategy (NDS), and JSPS objectives.
Methodology Expertise: In-depth working knowledge of DODIN operations, Defensive Cyberspace Operations (DCO), and Offensive Cyberspace Operations (OCO) methodologies.
Joint Planning Leadership: Hands-on experience leading or supporting JOPP and JOPP-C for full-spectrum operational environments.
Artifact Generation: Demonstrated experience developing EXORDs, OPORDs, PLANORDs, and Support Plans (SP/FSP)
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or Engineering Management, PLUS 5+ years of professional systems engineering experience on programs of similar scope and complexity OR High School Diploma / GED, PLUS 9+ years of hands-on technical systems engineering and architecture experience in lieu of a degree.

Formal Cyber Planning Credentials: Completion of formal cyber planning courses, such as:
Cyber Operations Planners Course (COPC)
Joint Cyber Operational Planners Course (JCOPC)
DC3 Cyber Training Academy coursework
Domain Background: Previous experience supporting USCYBERCOM, a Service Cyber Component (ARCYBER, AFCYBER, FLTCYBER, MARFORCYBER), or a CCMD J6/J39 shop.
Targeting & COA Formulation: Direct experience deconflicting operational targets via the Joint Targeting Cycle and translating high-level directives into actionable COAs.
Wargaming & Exercises: Hands-on participation in planning, conducting, or supporting cyber tabletop exercises (TTXs) and operational assessments.
