Job Overview & ResponsibilitiesThe ULA Advanced Programs (AP) team is a multidisciplinary group that helps shape the evolution of future ULA launch vehicles, performs architectural trade studies, develops concepts for future product offerings, supports proposal development, creates technology development roadmaps, and develops new technologies through prototype builds. As a Propulsion Analysis Engineer for AP, you will be developing and evaluating propulsion systems for future enhancements for Vulcan-Centaur and other launch vehicles.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform propulsion system level trade studies and analyses to optimize new designs for new programs.
- Perform propulsion system analyses of design concepts
- Develop system and component designs and requirements to satisfy overall propulsion systems requirements.
- Work with other technical disciplines to ensure the propulsion system design meets mission needs and meshes smoothly with other elements of the design
- Present concepts and analysis results at design reviews
- Lead and/or support prototype hardware build and test

Required Years of ExperienceMinimum of 4 years of related work experience
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related field.
- Proficient with fluids and thermodynamics design and analysis tools.
- Proficient with CAD tools
- Familiarity with propulsion system design and analysis principals
- Familiarity with structural design and dynamics analysis principals
- Proficient with Microsoft Office platform tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with ULA launch vehicles
- Ability to obtain and maintain active DoD TS/SCI is required. US citizenship is required.
Preferred QualificationsSummary Salary Range (for ULA - Denveronly): $104,087.00 - $173,479.00
