Job Description
The Boost Controls Systems Team within the PSOC directorate is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter to join our team as LE2 Proposal and long range planning lead. The qualified individual will be responsible for coordinating proposal efforts within the BCS team specifically the Life Extension 2 contract. The proposal lead integrate the BCS efforts across the PSOC directorate and the FBM program office to ensure successful completion of proposal activities throughout the year to include but not limited to; timely submission of proposal artifacts (BOE's, CDRL's, etc), facilitate discussions with internal and external mission partners, supporting proposal POC's throughout the proposal lifecycle, etc.
This role provides opportunities for collaboration with a multitude of teams within the FBM program, all relying on BCS to provide solutions and support to help meet and exceed mission objectives. This individual will also have the opportunity to use critical thinking in order to drive improvements in current processes that will create positive impacts to our mission success. This position will also have the ability to gain insight into various business processes that are critical to program support, such as contract execution and building relationships with our mission partners.
Summary of Key Duties:
• Support the FBM proposal lifecycle through coordination with BCS proposal POC's and the FBM Program Office (Estimating, Finance, Subcontracts, etc.)
• Facilitate discussions with our Navy partners to ensure alignment on project scope and program needs (Prioritizing projects, Fact Finding, LM/Navy Inter-organizational impacts, etc.)
• Ensure timely submission of various proposal artifacts (BOE's, Contract Artifacts, etc.) throughout the year as needed
• Coordinate training with proposal POC's as needed
• Provide timely and accurate insight to key program impacts or opportunities to the Senior Manager & the Functional Managers.
• Present status to Navy Partners & Internal Stakeholders as needed.
• Support internal stakeholders through collaboration and process rigor
• Identify opportunities for process improvement as the need for accesses expands
Basic Qualifications
Qualified candidate will have or be able to:
- Minimum of a bachelor degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience
- Project management experience or relevant experience (proposals, finance, contracts, etc.)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and have the ability to obtain a DoD secret security clearance

- General technical knowledge of the FBM Program

- Experience with information systems
- Good oral, written, and presentation communication skills
- Active DOD Secret security clearance
Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
